Hair Reduction
The
latest generation of lasers
used for hair removal
offer increased effectiveness
and comfort. My experience
and research has shown
the Alexandrite laser
to be the most effective
for hair reduction. In
the past, other lasers
and intense pulsed light
sources required many
treatments to achieve
acceptable results.
The
Alexendrite laser is the
latest in technology that
allows usually 3 to 4
treatments for significant
hair removal. Although
no therapy offers complete
and permanent hair removal,
most patients are very
satisfied with the overall
results after 3 sessions.
The laser is no more uncomfortable
than waxing, and is easier
on the skin than electrolysis.
Laser Tattoo Removal
Removal
of amateur and professional
tattoos can be done using
the latest laser technology.
Colored tattoos, while
more difficult, are still
effectively treated by
the laser. The number
of sessions required depends
on the size, depth, and
colors used in the tattoo.
Laser Treatment
of Spider Veins
Small
spider veins around the
nose, ears, and on the
cheeks can be permanently
removed with the Aura
laser. Spider veins on
the legs can be more challenging
to treat, but veins between
1 and 2mm can be removed
by the same laser. By
combining laser vein treatment
with traditional injection
of the veins, you can
expect good results with
very little discomfort
and downtime.
